Once you have a sense of the kind of roles in which you are most interested, we help you identify the people and organizations to contact as well as helping you craft a compelling message for that audience.  This may include some or all of the following:

  • Drafting and revising bios, CVs, resumes, and cover letters
  • Selecting the right  writing sample or portfolio
  • Reviewing applications
  • Interview preparation
  • Salary negotiations

Select The Services You Need

Some lawyers prefer to have us involved in every aspect of the career transition process.  Others use a more selective approach.  They may, for example, work closely with us when they are trying to identify a specific position, don’t involve us in resume preparation, and then contact us again when they have secured an interview.  You can work with us in the way that best suits your needs.

Be As Structured As You Like

About 80% of our clients like structure.  Specifically they want specific homework assignments with specific deadlines.  That’s how they get things done.  We have also had clients tell us that that they last did homework when they studied for the bar exam, and they had no intention of repeating that experience.  That’s fine by us.  Whatever your preference, we will adjust our style to what suits you best.

How We Work

Most of our work is done by phone or email.  For those who are in the Los Angeles area, we often have an initial in-person meeting, but that is not required.
